The large-scale rollout will begin in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Pune, covering the financial years 2025–26 and 2026–27.
These EVs will support last-mile delivery operations in India’s busiest cities.
Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd. (WIML), known for its Joy e-bike and Joy e-rik brands, has signed a major deal with Mumbai-based XiCon International Ltd., a subsidiary of Kaiser Corporation.
This move marks XiCon’s official entry into the electric mobility sector.
The partnership was formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), under which XiCon will lease 7,500 units of Wardwizard’s Wolf+ electric scooter. These EVs will support last-mile delivery operations in India’s busiest cities.
Rollout Begins in Key Cities
The large-scale rollout will begin in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Pune, covering the financial years 2025–26 and 2026–27. As the project grows, more cities will be added.
What the Partnership Includes
The agreement includes not just leasing, but also a complete ecosystem — from operations and maintenance to dedicated service-cum-charging stations. Wardwizard will manage spare parts, battery support, and technical assistance for the entire fleet.
Leaders Speak on the Tie-Up
Mr Yatin Gupte, CMD of Wardwizard, said: “By offering reliable and scalable EV solutions, we aim to not only support delivery services but also contribute to India’s larger goal of sustainable urban mobility. We are starting with some major cities and are sure to expand to further cities by the end of this year.”
Ms Lyla Mehta, Director at XiCon, added: “We’re look forward to seeing the electric scooters on the road and to grow this partnership for mutual and long-term benefit.”
XiCon will handle vehicle allocations, partnerships with delivery platforms, and other tech-led initiatives to ensure the scooters are fully utilised. Both companies are focused on making last-mile deliveries cleaner and smarter.
