Best Marvel Snap decks

For the most part, the best meta decks in Marvel Snap require you to have completed Series 3 and have a significant chunk of Series 4 and Series 5 cards. This is because your options for different deck archetypes open up enormously once you reach this stage, but there are usually one or two alternatives you can use instead for a similar result.

Gwenpool is a new card this season which buffs a card in your hand three times. It’s a 4-power card, so the goal is to play a bunch of the cheaper cards on turn six once they’ve had their cost reduced by Sera. You’re looking at something like America Chavez then Okoye, before Nakia or Phastos, then Gwenpool. Finally, you’re hoping for Sera at turn five to then reduce the cost of Brood, Silver Surfer, and Sebastian Shaw.

This is a classic, but with Vulture being a great card, it never gets old. What’s more, since it’s so old, it doesn’t get used very much any more, and people won’t expect to see it in the current meta. There are a lot of options here, so you shouldn’t be too restricted by an unlucky draw – just remember to prepare for Heimdall on the last turn. If you don’t draw it, the low cost of your other cards leaves you with other options.

Death

Destroy decks seem to be among the most resilient Marvel Snap decks, appearing frequently regardless of the current meta. With the Deadpool season now live, we’re seeing even more of a surge in the destroy meta given Deadpool’s own power.

Hela is still a strong favorite in the current meta – and every meta, at that. This is a classic Hela deck, making the most of some of the highest value cards available. As always with Hela, the risk comes in discarding Hela by mistake, but you have Dracula, The Infinaut, and Death to counter that if needed.

The big problem with this deck is that it can be countered by a Shang-Chi or Enchantress, among others, but most decks can be countered if you’re unlucky. When this work, it works great, so it can be worth the risk. What’s more, there are multiple options, even if you’re left with playing a simple Ironheart, Wong, White Tiger, Odin at one location, you could still take the win, but your early game cards are in there to boost things even more, and while Magik instead of of Ironheart can allow you to either play Ironheart after Wong, or Black Panther and White Tiger together.

The idea behind this deck is getting something to a large body before feeding it to either Arnim Zola or Taskmaster. For example, you can build up Kitty Pryde, put her through Shuri, and then have Taskmaster copy her. You can then put Vision through Shuri and move him to an empty position before Arniming him. By moving Wong through Black Panther and Arnim twice, and then moving Odin onto Arnim when you’re in limbo, you can make a giant Black Panther through Wong and Shuri and then Taskmastering him. Hope exists to have extra flexibility and add spare power, but if she’s in the same place as a card you want to duplicate, she can prove troublesome, so be careful.

Best Marvel Snap beginner decks

These beginner Marvel Snap decks exclusively use cards that you start the game with and those in Pool 1, which is from collection levels 18-214 in the card game. There are many cards to choose from with these parameters. If there are any you’re missing in your chosen deck list, you’re early enough in the game that replacing a few of them won’t ruin the deck’s playstyle too much.
