VECV & Statiq Partners To Supercharge Eicher EVs With 8,000+ Charging Points

Through this partnership, Eicher and Volvo truck and bus customers will get easy access to over 8,000 charging stations across India.
With this strategic alliance, VECV and Statiq are taking a big step towards making electric commercial vehicles mainstream in India.
VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has signed a major partnership deal with Statiq, a top electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions provider.
The goal is to speed up the adoption of Eicher’s new electric trucks, especially the recently launched Eicher Pro X range of Small Commercial Vehicles.
Through this partnership, Eicher and Volvo truck and bus customers will get easy access to over 8,000 charging stations across India, thanks to Statiq’s extensive network of charging point operators (CPOs). This means quicker, smarter, and more convenient charging for EV users.
What’s in Store for Eicher Customers?
- Seamless Charging Access: Statiq’s vast network will now be available via the My Eicher app, a first-of-its-kind fleet management tool.
- Real-time Navigation & Tariff Details: Drivers can now easily find nearby charging stations, get directions, and see pricing details instantly.
- Special Offers: Expect exclusive deals and discounted tariffs for Eicher truck and bus operators to make EV usage more cost-effective.
Abhishek Chaudhary, SVP at VECV, said this tie-up is a big leap in strengthening India’s commercial EV ecosystem. “This collaboration will also empower Eicher Pro X electric customers with enhanced convenience, confidence, and operational efficiency, accelerating the shift towards sustainable transportation,” he added.
Statiq CEO Akshit Bansal echoed the sentiment, calling this a “milestone moment” for EV adoption in the commercial vehicle space. “By integrating our expansive charging network with VECV’s My Eicher, we aim to provide users with a seamless, tech-driven charging experience that removes barriers to EV adoption,” he said.
Hardware & Support Upgrades
Statiq will also be one of VECV’s go-to partners for installing AC and DC fast chargers. That’s not all – both companies will build a robust support system offering:
- Call center support
- Service ticket tracking
- Quick repairs & maintenance
- Dedicated contact points for fast resolution
Additionally, Statiq will map out charging hubs with ample infrastructure and parking on the My Eicher app, covering all vehicle types.
